Your focus should be on ensuring delivery of sourcing projects to the client with maximum value addition in terms of savings / benefits to the client. Procure goods and services, obtain quotation, develop proposals and/or negotiate contracts of low to moderate value/risk consistent with client requirements. Good understanding and experience of RFP / RFX / RFQ is required to be managed via formal ERP / procurement tool-based sourcing. Understanding of eAuction is mandatory. Understanding on upstream and downstream sourcing process, namely S2P and P2P process. Manage Proactive engagements activity for operational planned spend opportunities within defined operational spend levels Manage transactional buying desk activities and support wider category management including raising purchase orders Quotation analysis and recommendations, consideration suitability/reliability of suppliers to meet operational requirements and as per Client Procurement Policy/Sourcing guidelines Negotiate with Suppliers on both Commercial and Non-Commercial Clauses as per guidance Obtain approval from Client Category Manager on finalized projects Support Drafting of Contract as Client and Senior Buyer instructions Record Savings in the Client Savings Data Base Engagement with operational teams to review pipeline and track savings opportunities Work closely with category managers and business units to establish and deliver procurement requirements, strategic benefits and compliance with existing procurement contracts Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders Qualifications - Bachelors - Business Administration, Bachelors - Industrial Engineering, Bachelors - Logistics, Bachelors - Supply Chain Management, Masters - Operations Management Certifications - APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) - Lincoln LandLincoln Land, APICS - Certified Supply Chain Professional certification (CSCP) - American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS)American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) - Institute for Supply Management (ISM)Institute for Supply Management (ISM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - Indian Institute of Management, TrichyIndian Institute of Management, Trichy, Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud: Procurement Certified Associate (OCA) - OracleOracle Required Skills - Category Management, Contract Management, Cost Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Data Visualization, Demand Forecasting, Insight Generation, Inventory Management, SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC), Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Supply Chain Planning (SCP), Tableau Prep Language English, French Language Proficiency - Advanced - C1 Additional Job Location - Job Type Regular Master Skill List - Procurement Remote Type - Remote Work Shift - Standard (Romania) Why join Genpact?
