Role Description We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Outsourced Controller with extensive experience managing the full accounting cycle for multiple clients across diverse industries. This is a full-time role for an Outsourced Controller based in Minneapolis, MN. The Outsourced Controller will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, including managing accounting staff, preparing and reviewing financial statements, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Additionally, the role includes managing client relationships, providing strategic financial advice, and supporting the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of month-end / year-end close procedures, and various interim tax returns (sales and use, payroll tax, etc.)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Gusto, and other payroll systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 10-15 years of experience in accounting field
- Must be located in the metro area of Minneapolis, MN
- Experienced in supervising and training accounting staff
- Proven ability to manage multiple clients and competing priorities independently
- Willingness to travel locally to locations throughout the Minneapolis metropolitan area as needed
