Licensed Therapist for Virtual Outpatient

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outpatient Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals in an outpatient setting, focusing on promoting mental health and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and various therapeutic modalities. The Outpatient Therapist will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and facilitate their journey towards recovery. Must have reciprocity in the state of Missouri. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health status.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy, including behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Engage in ongoing research to stay updated on best practices in outpatient therapy.
  • Work with individuals with disabilities, providing tailored support and interventions.
  • Offer support to geriatric clients, addressing their unique mental health challenges.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, promoting peer support among clients.

Experience

  • A Masters license is required; relevant licensure preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and HIPAA compliance is essential.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
  • Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and research in the field of mental health.
