Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant
Our client, a leading global investment management company, is hiring a Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant to support their team. This is a 1 year contract with 3 days onsite in Irvine, CA. *Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant Responsibilities:* * Lead development and execution of sourcing strategies for various technology categories, aiming for cost efficiencies and risk management.
- Manage the end-to-end RFx processes, including designing and analyzing supplier proposals to ensure the best fit.
- Negotiate complex contracts with suppliers, balancing risk, value, and legal considerations.
- Cultivate strong supplier relationships, monitor their performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze spend data and utilize cost modeling to identify opportunities for savings and process optimization.
- Strategic Category Sourcing Consultant Qualifications:*
* Over 7 years of advanced strategic sourcing experience with a focus on technology procurement.
- Deep understanding of sourcing principles, methodologies, and contract law, including SaaS and cloud-based enterprise applications.
- Proven success in negotiations and contract management in a global environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis, spend analytics, and financial modeling.
- Extensive knowledge of technology and labor supplier markets, as well as industry trends and competition.
