Physician Recruiter - Strategic & Academic Initiatives

Find your calling at Mercy! Mercy is seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter to support physician recruitment for strategic, long-term partnership initiatives. In this newly created role, you'll support the development and long-term success of our transformational new campus in Northwest Arkansas designed to redefine how care is delivered in the heartland of America. This role will operate in a dynamic environment where physician roles and specialties may evolve and requires a recruiter who is consultative, adaptable, and experienced partnering with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, including academic organizations. This is a hybrid position with regular on-site expectations. Position Details:

• Lead physician recruitment efforts supporting strategic, long-term partnership initiatives and new, evolving care models
• Partner with clinical, operational, and external stakeholders to develop recruitment strategies where roles may not be fully defined
• Support academic and hybrid physician recruitment, including faculty-affiliated, clinician-educator, and research-aligned roles
• Build and maintain relationships with academic medical centers, residency and fellowship programs, and physician leaders to support pipeline development
• Provide market intelligence, candidate insights, and strategic recommendations to support future workforce planning
• Manage full-cycle physician recruitment in alignment with organizational priorities and mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 + years of experience in provider or healthcare recruitment (Physician recruitment strongly preferred)
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Strength in sourcing, relationship management, and managing multiple priorities
• Passion for supporting clinical teams who deliver care with excellence and compassion
