Sr. Lead Unix/Linux Administrator

We are looking for an experienced, talented, and enthusiastic Sr. Lead Unix/Linux Administrator to join our team at CenturyLink. The successful candidate will be a driven, self-motivated team player who can quickly develop and maintain strong working relationships with our customers and colleagues. The ideal applicant should have a wealth of experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Unix/Linux systems in a production environment.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field• 8+ years of experience administering Unix/Linux systems, including Red Hat and CentOS• Strong knowledge of system administration best practices and scripting languages• Proficient in troubleshooting system performance issues• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Certification in Unix/Linux is a plus CenturyLink is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
