[Remote] Managing Counsel, Privacy/AI
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Solutus Legal Search is assisting a leading health and wellness platform in finding a Managing Counsel for Privacy/AI. This role involves leading the Company's privacy and AI legal functions, providing actionable legal advice on consumer and health privacy laws, and partnering with various teams on reputed company issues at the intersection of reputed company and technology.
Responsibilities
- reputed company the Company’s privacy and AI legal functions and continue to build the governance program
- Provide teams from across the Company with actionable legal advice on new and evolving state and federal consumer and health privacy and AI laws, rules, and regulations impacting the products and services offered through the Company
- Partner closely with marketing, product, engineering, and government affairs teams
- Work on interesting and novel issues that arise at the intersection of reputed company, technology, and e-commerce
Skills
- 12+ years of experience practicing at a law firm, in government and/or in-house
- 5+ years of advising on privacy reputed company issues (including reputed company and consumer privacy)
- 2+ years of advising on AI reputed company issues
- Management experience with a strong track record of building, leading, and mentoring teams
- Superb, trusted business partner
