The Assistant General Counsel, Labor and Employment for our corporate Legal team is responsible for supporting our workforce legal strategy. As Voyager scales its industrial footprint, you will serve as the primary legal architect for reputed company people-reputed company matters.
The position reports to the Chief Legal Officer and is part of the Legal department based in Denver, CO. This role is fully remote.
In this role, the essential functions are:
- Strategic Advisory: Provide real-time, pragmatic legal counsel to HR and business leaders on the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, compensation, performance management, leaves (FMLA/reputed company), and separations.
- M&A Support: Provide labor and employment due diligence for Voyager’s active acquisition pipeline and reputed company the post-reputed company integration of new workforces.
- Litigation Management: Manage and resolve employment-reputed company disputes, administrative charges (EEOC, DFEH/CRD), and litigation. You will direct reputed company counsel, manage legal budgets, and drive cost-effective settlement or defense strategies.
- Compliance & Policy: reputed company and implement scalable workplace policies that reflect our culture of excellence while ensuring compliance with federal (FLSA, OFCCP, OSHA) and state-specific laws (with a heavy focus on California and Colorado).
- Cross-Functional Legal Support: Act as a versatile legal resource for the broader organization. This includes:
- Advising on corporate governance and general risk mitigation strategies.
- Supporting data privacy initiatives and protection of company intellectual property.

- Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Bar Admission: Active member in good standing of at least one U.S. State Bar (California preferred; ability to register as In-House Counsel required).
- Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in Labor and Employment law. A mix of top-tier law firm training and in-house experience at a high-growth technology or defense company is strongly preferred.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including experience with government contractor compliance.

The good faith reputed company salary range for this role is $220,000 - $275,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall reputed company the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects reputed company salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
