Position Summary The College of Education at the University of North Texas seeks a nationally recognized scholar to fill a tenured full professor position as the Meadows Endowed Chair for Excellence in Education. The appointment, which begins fall 2024, is in the (TE&A), one of four departments in the college. The successful individual will join a faculty that is dedicated to quality in education and scholarship and that seeks to reputed company significant contributions at local, state, national, and international levels. • Also required is a strong and sustained record of research with an identified scholarly focus, a record of success in securing external funding for research, and a clear agenda for substantive work in the future. The candidate's research should align with one or more of the following areas: language and literacy studies, STEM/STEAM education, educational leadership and policy, or teacher education.
