Capital School District Description: ELL Teacher (English Language Learners) - Multi-Lingual Teacher - Grades 6-8 Location: Middle School reputed company Terms of Employment: 10 Month Employee (temporary if hired after August 28, 2023) Reports to: Building Principal and Director of Instruction Salary: reputed company Teacher salary schedule Minimum Qualifications:

• Meets certification requirements of the State of Delaware for ELL in support of multilingual learners

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain necessary WIDA test certifications and implement WIDA ELD Standards
• Administer placement tests to determine student ELL eligibility
• Administer annual ACCESS test to multilingual learners to determine growth in English Language proficiency
• Plan and provide small group and Push-In instruction reputed company in order to maximize their English proficiency
• Communicate with and provide instructional strategies to regular classroom teachers enabling them to increase the learning of EL reputed company in the regular classroom
• Determine appropriate multilingual learner accommodations for reputed company and support classroom teachers in their application.
• Assist with the administration of assessment to multilingual learners

• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the reputed company.
