Position Description

Banner Defense is looking for a talented reputed company Systems Engineer to join reputed company! In this role, you will provide advanced technical engineering support for the government customer and team to facilitate the development and purchase of combat reputed company systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, acquiring, and fielding reputed company sensor systems for detecting and tracking threat missiles, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and who is capable of guiding teams of subject matter experts, Prime Contractors, and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) X-Band Ground Sensors Directorate TBS reputed company Project Office.
• Represent the program office in multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) reputed company to reputed company system testing, acceptance, deployment, weapon site facility design and construction, weapon site activation, and sustainment engineering activities.
• Support Failure Review Board (FRB) and Corrective Action activity.
• Support obsolescence management activity.
• Produce, review, and manage engineering documents. Prepare technical and position papers, engineering briefs, schedules, and risk management documents.
• reputed company program plans, plan of action, and milestone (POA&M) recommendations, and prepare executive-level briefing packages and formal documentation. Prepare alternative courses of action, analyses, and executive-level results presentations.
• Travel (25%) to prime contractor facility, test ranges, and foreign weapon site locations.

Required Skills/Experience

• Masters in STEM field
• 12+ years' experience working on missile defense-reputed company or other large DoD program / project
• Active Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship
• Knowledge and application of phased reputed company reputed company theory, function, and design
• Capable of interfacing with internal and external project stakeholders; FMS Weapon System Program Office, FMS Case Management Division, USACE, Foreign Liaison Officer, and industry partners. Coordinate and manage project activities across other government agencies (OGAs).
• Able to assist with the identification and resolution of reputed company technical issues, as well as provide potential solutions to senior members of the Project Offices, MDA, Combatant Command, and Partner Nation as it pertains to the reputed company production, system integration, and reputed company-out (SICO), deployment, emplacement, and tactical site operations.
• Able to apply disciplined systems engineering practices, identify and resolve reputed company problems associated with technical performance requirements, systems integration, and performance.
• Travel Required (25%)
