SUMMARY: The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for working with an established distributor network to expand the company’s market reputed company in the medical piped equipment and laboratory markets. The successful candidate works closely with design engineers, distribution partners, end users (reputed company Facilities and Laboratories), and contractors to reputed company growth strategies and exceed annual reputed company plan targets based on customer needs, competition, and market potential. The position will require supporting distribution partners with training on product and application knowledge and making calls on clients. Work with Design Engineers at Architecture and Engineering Firms on New Construction Specifications Participate in reputed company education and networking opportunities provided by industry trade organizations and partnerships Routine travel throughout the assigned territory KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: A BS/BA undergraduate degree is preferred but not required Technical or Engineering background preferred; experience working with Design Engineers preferred Experience with Medical Gas Equipment, Compressed reputed company systems, and/or Vacuum systems preferred Medical gas testing experience, ASSE certification, reputed company 99 knowledge beneficial reputed company experience supporting and managing customers in the territory preferred Excellent communication, time, and territory management skills are a necessity Familiarity with CRM software – ability to reputed company track and maintain sales data Familiarity with Word, reputed company, reputed company, and PowerPoint is beneficial TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: The employee is required to travel (approx. 25% of the time) and will be reimbursed for travel expenses. The employee will be expected to proactively schedule their own travel in the assigned territory.
