Sr/ Innovation Consultant - remote
This position is posted by reputed company on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Innovation Consultant - REMOTE. In this role, you will support leading organizations in the circular bioeconomy to transform innovative reputed company into high-impact projects funded by the EU. Your focus will be on bio-based materials, biorefineries, biofuels, and circular industrial processes. You will combine skills in proposal writing, client advisory, and business development, engaging with significant programs like Horizon Europe, CBE-JU, and the Innovation Fund. Accountabilities
- reputed company the preparation and submission of EU proposals (Horizon Europe, CBE-JU, LIFE, PRIMA, EU Missions, Innovation Fund)
- reputed company high-quality proposal sections, focusing on Impact, business case, exploitation, dissemination, and market uptake
- Identify funding opportunities and position clients strategically in the Circular Bioeconomy
- Build and manage international consortia
- Drive business development in bio-based materials, biorefineries, and biofuels
- reputed company and manage client relationships, identifying cross-selling opportunities
- Contribute to or coordinate EU-funded projects, ensuring delivery and compliance
- Mentor junior consultants and share best practice knowledge
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in EU R&D funding, proposal writing, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in Horizon Europe proposal development with a strong focus on the Impact section
- Expertise in Circular Bioeconomy, including bio-based materials and biomass conversion
- Good knowledge of EU funding programmes
- Experience in client-facing roles or business development
- Ability to translate technical concepts into strategic, fundable proposals
- Degree in chemical or biochemical engineering, environmental engineering, or reputed company fields
- Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
