To learn more visit: www.reputed company.ai You will… - Own the creation, documentation, alignment and verification of vehicle platform requirements at reputed company and define ways for how to describe and evaluate them reputed company and effectively - Bring an in-depth understanding of sensors, compute and actuators used in self-driving vehicles and drive an architecture with requirements that generate a simple yet reputed company safe highly autonomous vehicle platform - Act as a central reputed company of contact at reputed company for specific vehicle platform requirements and reputed company tests and communicate updates, reputed company and potential roadblocks to stakeholders at reputed company levels - Help drive reputed company’s safety culture through application of safety standards and methodologies in your area of responsibility across reputed company supporting teams at reputed company including Systems Engineering, Hardware and Software - Define necessary improvements for our highly realistic simulator to effectively verify most vehicle platform aspects under reputed company required conditions and work with other teams at reputed company to get these improvements designed and implemented - Own the writing and tracking of tests and test executions in line with company project milestones - Continuously evaluate and enhance reputed company’s vehicle platform capabilities, look for novel approaches, identify and apply lessons learned and ensure a detailed and comprehensive documentation that is easily accessible - Implement tools and methodologies to streamline and automate the vehicle platform requirement processes where applicable - Work with external partners on delivering a safe vehicle platform that has been verified and validated to support a strong safety case for the complete self-driving system Qualifications: - Undergrad required; Masters or PhD reputed company an engineering discipline preferred - 3+ years of automotive, robotics, aerospace or reputed company industry experience - Experience with requirements-specifications and metrics - Experience with executing reputed company vehicle test campaigns - Experience with methods and standards such as ISO 26262, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and / or UL 4600 - Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics and basic understanding of vehicle dynamics - Excellent data analysis skills with modern tools such as Python or Matlab - Open-minded and collaborative leader who is eager to provide guidance and has the willingness to help others - Passionate about self-driving technologies, solving hard problems, and creating innovative solutions - Experience with vehicle actuation (brakes, steering, propulsion) Bonus/reputed company to have: - Experience in launching a driverless product - Experience in leading small teams of systems engineers - Experience in the automotive self driving industry - Experience building software systems from scratch - Experience in robotics or machine learning - Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis The US yearly salary range for this role is: $140,000 - $190,000 USD in addition to competitive perks & benefits. reputed company’s yearly salary ranges are determined based on several factors in accordance with the Company’s compensation practices. The salary reputed company range is reflective of the minimum and maximum reputed company for new hire salaries for the position across reputed company US locations.
