Job Overview THE CITY OF EL CAJON IS LOOKING FOR ENTRY-LEVEL PARAMEDIC FIREFIGHTERS. Pay rates are calculated based on full time, non-probationary experience as a Paramedic Firefighter: Educational Incentive Pay is available to employees who possess a college degree in a job-reputed company field upon date of hire: Associate's Degree: 2.5% salary increase Bachelor's Degree: 5% salary increase THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS: Interested applicants must submit and complete the online application and supplemental questionnaire by the application deadline. Experience: None required. Special Requirements: Possession of or ability to obtain, prior to employment, a valid Class C California driver's license with a safe driving record. Must obtain a minimum of a Class C California driver's license with a Firefighter Endorsement prior to completion of two years. Possession of State of California Paramedic License with San Diego County accreditation and basic CPR certificate (Must be maintained as a condition of employment).
