Job description: Position: Tutor, Certified Teacher (Hired as Substitute Teacher)

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate or permit with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Knowledge of subjects assigned
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct reputed company and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- reputed company and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the district's curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required.
- Prepare lessons that reflect accommodation for individual student differences.
- Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by reputed company, board policies and administrative regulations.
- Plan and use appropriate instructional/learning strategies, activities, materials, equipment, and technology that reflect accommodation individual needs of student assigned.
- Conduct formal/informal assessments as needed and utilize the results to plan instructional activities.
- Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to plan targeted reputed company lessons.
- Tutor, Certified Teacher Substitute positions are avaliable on an "as-needed" basis. Days may vary; pending reputed company needs as determined by the principal.
- Applicants must attend the LPISD orientation meeting prior to beginning tutoring.
