Competitive Intelligence Consultant- Control & Industrial SW

About the position The Competitive Intelligence Consultant is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing information on competitors, market trends, and industry dynamics for control systems and technologies, covering DeltaV DCS, SIS, and Industrial Software. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, data-driven professional with a keen interest in understanding technical offerings, business strategies, and market behaviors. This role requires excellent research skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate reputed company findings in a clear and concise manner. Responsibilities

• Research & Data Collection:
• Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research on competitors, including their products, services, pricing, marketing strategies, and financial performance.
• Utilize a variety of sources, such as market reports, financial filings, news articles, social media, and industry databases.

• Analysis & Synthesis:

Requirements

• 6 years of experience in project operations, product marketing or service marketing, product support, business development, or technical sales
• Have experience with DeltaV DCS or any competitor’s control systems (including DCS, SIS, PLC, SCADA, etc.) or industrial software.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present reputed company information clearly and persuasively.
• Strong ability to connect data points to broader business strategy.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Willingness to travel 10%
