Ruby on Rails Engineer Remote

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software that meets our users' needs. This role demands a proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has experience building robust applications with modern tools and practices. This is a fully remote, full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a reputed company field. A Master's degree will be considered a plus. Experience

• 5-10 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful web services.
• Experience working with relational databases like Postgre

SQL or MySQL, and Active Record ORM.

• Familiarity with reputed company-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React.js or Vue.js.
• Proficient with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong knowledge of API design and integration (Graph

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git/Git Hub).
