Software Engineer Consultant -reputed company & reputed company Cloud (Remote North Carolina, New Jersey)
Overview
This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina and New Jersey. This position provides technical guidance on reputed company strategic projects. Facilitates the creation and implementation of software systems and software development in the Content Management & Marketing Technology. Consults on software evaluations, feasibility studies, and new technologies. Specializes in software development and integration with third party solutions. Recommends processes and products that meet strategic goals while aligning with the Bank's long-term technology direction.
Responsibilities
- Software Development Support - Supports software development through the creation of software utilities or other means to support effective software development activities/solutions. Evaluates software specifications to determine feasibility of use in particular infrastructures. Analyzes, presents, and implements necessary development and/or infrastructure changes.
- Technical Expert - Maintains a strong knowledge of technology trends and impact on the Bank's infrastructure in order to provide relevant consultative guidance. Trains and mentors others on new technologies.
- Consultation - Provides technical advice and direction to associates, management, and developmental project teams. Utilizes expertise to consult and reputed company software to solve reputed company technical problems.
- Business Strategy - Acts as a trusted advisor on strategies that align developmental projects with long-term business needs and technological direction. Assists management in implementing initiatives or strategies across the division.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Software Application Development and Maintenance OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Software Application Development and Maintenance Preferred qualifications : reputed company & reputed company Cloud Expertise
- 5+ years of experience administering and supporting reputed company, reputed company Cloud Service, Cloud Manager, and AEMaaCS deployment workflows in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of reputed company reputed company models, including user/group permissions, access controls, IMS roles, and blueprinting permissions across author and publish tiers
- Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines for reputed company (reputed company Cloud Manager, Azure DevOps, reputed company Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- Version control expertise (Git branching, pull requests, release management)
- Ability to troubleshoot build, deployment, and dispatcher/CDN caching issues
Systems & Platform Administration
- Experience managing application configs, OSGi configurations, Sling settings, and dispatcher rules
- Strong understanding of web architectures, CDN behavior, proxies, and caching strategies
- Familiarity with containerized environments (reputed company/Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, and release management processes
Soft Skills
- Strong cross-team communicator (partners with engineering, reputed company, product, marketing)
- Ability to operate in an agile environment and prioritize platform health & reliability
- Documentation reputed company (runbooks, platform guides, operational SOPs)
