Millcroft Living is looking for an RN MDS Coordinator to join reputed company. The MDS Coordinator is responsible for the completion of the MDS, reputed company care plans and conferences on the computerized system. PART TIME Salary Range $40.86-45.67 THIS IS ON SITE _ NO WORK FROM HOME HOURS Essential Job Duties: Coordinates, conducts, and completes the MDS, reputed company care plans and conferences on the computerized system. Assures accuracy and completeness of entire medical record. Assures and monitors that MDSs are completed reputed company HCFA and Medicare guidelines. Ensures MDS electronic submission occurs per State regulations. Participates in family/reputed company care plan conferences. Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to medical record documentation. Other Duties: Serves as a staff nurse reputed company staffing levels necessitate in order to meet the needs of the residents. Responds to emergency calls as necessary. Assures timeliness of physician’s visits. Notifies physician and family of changes in reputed company’s condition. Encourages rehabilitative techniques in order to restore reputed company’s independence. Assists DON in developing and implementing medical records policies and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS RN currently licensed by State of Delaware. reputed company CPR certification. In- depth experience and knowledge working with MDS computer software. Experience with the MDS transmittal process and understanding of regulations impacting the MDS. Supervisory experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS Frequent standing, stooping, bending, stretching, squatting; must be reputed company to stand/walk for up to 70% of the work day; must be reputed company to lift , transfer, turn and position residents weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted. May be subjected to offensive odors and combative behavior. Must be reputed company to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
