[Remote] Legal Biller (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a dynamic, rapidly growing law firm operating in California, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and reputed company. They are seeking a Legal Billing Specialist to work closely with attorneys and staff to complete the full billing cycle while ensuring accuracy and compliance with reputed company guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with assigned attorneys to ensure accuracy and efficiency in preparing monthly invoices
- reputed company necessary prebill edits and file maintenance
- Post invoices, submit to various eBilling websites, track approval process and submit appeals where necessary. Ensures compliance with electronic billing sites and reputed company guidelines. Follow up on invoice status, rejections, appeals, etc
- Assist in identifying and resolving billing discrepancies
- Participate in the reputed company of new insurance carriers and clients, including opening matters, submitting timekeeper timecards, budgets, etc
- Coordinate with AP staff to ensure timely submission of vendor costs to be billed to clients
- Assist with outstanding collections
Skills
- LEDES Billing: 2 years
- Proficient in reputed company Office
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Unquestioned reputed company and professionalism
- Experience in a legal environment or professional services
- Experience in Orion Billing Software
- Familiarity with various e-billing vendors, such as Bottomline, T360, CounselLink, Legal Suite Solutions, Legal Tracker, Quovant, etc
