[Remote] Customer Service Representative - Remote

The Customer Service Representative will be the first reputed company of contact for patient inquiries, providing superior customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience through various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Serves as first reputed company of contact for incoming billing customer service calls
- Provides reputed company customer service, including quality assurance, for reputed company patient inquiries
- Answer high-volume incoming communications from customers/patients
- Returns reputed company phone messages reputed company 24 hours of receipt
- Must be reputed company to deal diplomatically with complaints and function well under pressure
- Utilize resources and conduct research to troubleshoot and resolve patient issues
- Reviews patient account data reputed company interacting with patients to ensure that accurate information regarding patients' insurance and demographic information are correctly reflected on the patient's account
- Updates insurance and demographic information as necessary on patient accounts
- Accurately documents patient accounts of reputed company actions taken
- Set up payment plans and take credit card payments over the phone
- Effectively uses billing system to document patient accounts using proper grammar, spelling, and reputed company
- Participates in special projects as needed
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance

- In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties maybe assigned
Skills
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of health plan benefits (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) and eligibility verification
- Must be reputed company to read, interpret and explain EOBs and patient responsibility in detail
- Education in medical billing or hold medical billing certification preferred
- Mod Med/EMA practice management system experience is a plus
