Senior Build System Engineer

At reputed company, our Build Systems team enables thousands of engineers to build, test, and ship quickly and reliably. We power the reputed company monorepo that supports our iOS, Android, Desktop (C++), and Web clients, ensuring fast, reliable, and scalable builds across reputed company platforms.We’re looking for a Senior Build Systems Engineer with deep experience in large-scale, multi-language build environments to help shape the future of our client build infrastructure. You’ll architect, optimise, and evolve our Bazel-based systems to reputed company efficient and developer-friendly workflows across the entire client platform stack.What You'll Do Design, build, and maintain Bazel-based build systems for reputed company’s client monorepo (iOS, Android, C++, Web).reputed company improvements to build performance, remote caching, and incremental build reliability at scale.reputed company tooling and automation that improves IDE integration and developer ergonomics.Partner with platform and infra teams to define build graph architecture, dependency management, and hermeticity strategies.reputed company and analyze build telemetry to measure and improve developer feedback loops.Drive consistency and standardization across cross-platform builds, ensuring reproducible and scalable workflows.Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and reputed company improvement.Who You Are Strong experience in at least one of: iOS (Xcode, Swift), Android (Gradle, Kotlin/Java), C++ (CMake/Ninja), or Web (TypeScript, Yarn, Webpack).Proven experience designing or scaling build systems with BazelComfortable working in multi-language, multi-platform monorepos.Strong understanding of hermetic builds, remote caching, and distributed execution.Familiar with IDE integration workflows and tooling ecosystems.Excellent collaborator with strong communication skills and a systems-thinking reputed company.Passionate about improving developer productivity and enabling teams to move faster with confidence.Where You'll Be This role is based in London or StockholmWe offer you the flexibility to work where you work best!
