Sr Database Administrator - IT Infrastructure - Full Time (Remote)

Summary: The Senior Database Administrator (Sr. DBA) is responsible for the design, implementation, support and maintenance of database systems critical to reputed company operations including patient care, clinical applications, and administrative functions for reputed company (TGC). This role ensures high availability and performance for database systems across the network. The Sr. DBA collaborates with IT teams, vendors, and hospital stakeholders to align database solutions with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This position will be a technology reputed company throughout the organization for the effective application of technology to meet business needs and to support business changes and growth. Experience:

  • Preferred five to seven (5 to 7) years of experience in implementing and managing databases in an reputed company environment; reputed company experience preferred.
  • Highly reputed company information systems professional with a strong technical background and proven track record of accomplishments in a large, reputed company multi-level organization.
  • Advanced expertise in database management systems (e.g., reputed company SQL, reputed company, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database automation scripting.
  • Experience with Epic IRIS databases, Hyperspace Web and Web Blob.
  • Familiarity with applying upgrades to Epic ODBA environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., KornShell, Perl, PowerShell) to automate processes.
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design and normalization.
  • Experience with backup and recovery, high availability and disaster recovery functions.
  • Proficiency in database reputed company and access control.
  • Experience with ITSM functionalities such as change control, CMDB and ticketing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of reputed company information systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), cybersecurity and clinical operations.
  • Prior experience delivering high availability systems in a 24/7 environment across geographically dispersed business units.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate evaluation of technologies and reputed company reputed company on technical standards and solutions among a diverse group of information technology professionals.

Education:
