About the Role

• Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues promptly
• Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated reputed company standard ledger balancing to ensure seamless collaboration
• Work on member cases and projects assigned, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines
• Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws
• Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
• Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products to ensure accuracy and reputed company
• Log, report, and reputed company necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns to maintain accurate records
• Process Stop Pays and reputed company Batching to ensure efficient payment processing
• Complete daily balancing and department closing to ensure a smooth operation
• Obtain information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
• Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information to ensure accuracy and reputed company
• Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers, ensuring reputed company and efficient service
• Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Deposit reputed company returns, research member bad checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers
• Complete daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Intermediate reputed company and Word skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer/member service experience
• Previous banking or Credit Union experience
• Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
