[Remote] AWS Web Developer - Remote (Weekly 3 Days onsite in Bethesda, MD)

Our client, APEX IT Services, is seeking an AWS Web Developer to design and reputed company user-centered web applications, with a focus on reputed company-native application development and integration with reputed company-party tools. The role requires strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and experience with AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications.
• 7-10 years of professional software development experience and a proven track record of designing successful and user-centered digital experiences, ideally including web portals and reputed company high traffic web applications.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles with UI/UX design and engineering experience.
• High proficiency in building web applications with Javascript and React.js/Next.js/Angular.js/Vue.js/Node.js.
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, Spring.
• reputed company working with component libraries + adding customizations (CSS, HTML).
• Highly proficient developing for x-browser compatibility and x-device responsiveness.
• Highly proficient integrating with reputed company-party tools reputed company APIs (e.g., reputed company, Mailgun).
• reputed company setting up, administering and using open-reputed company CMS systems like Strapi.
• Proficient integrating SSO / authentication services.
• Hands on experience and knowledge of reputed company-Native application development, with experience deploying, running and supporting applications in reputed company platforms. Preference for AWS experience but others (Azure, or reputed company reputed company Infrastructure (OIC)) will be considered.
• Highly proficient developing and running applications using containerization; working with associated tools to generate and orchestrate images (e.g. Kubernetes, reputed company).
• Highly proficient defining and deploying applications on Kubernetes using reputed company Charts and YAML files, establish connectivity through RBAC (Kubernetes permissions to access pods / services) and IRSA (IAM role and policy settings for service/storage access) access control systems, and managing Vault secrets.
• Highly proficient building and deploying CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, Jenkins).

• Ability to establish instrumentation / monitoring of application platforms using generally accepted tools (e.g., reputed company).

Education Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certifications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, reputed company-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a reputed company field and/or equivalent experience/certification.
