Business Systems Analyst/Programmer - Skywalk Global

Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems, requiring strong development skills to design, build, and implement effective technical solutions.

his position will support and maintain existing Rhapsody, .NET-based applications and infrastructure, assist with troubleshooting and automation, and play a key role in planning and guiding a modernization effort for legacy systems. The resource will also contribute to evaluating and recommending technologies and tools to support the modernization of our disease surveillance and data infrastructure.

A critical requirement for this role is strong experience with the Rhapsody Integration reputed company, as the contractor will be responsible for managing and enhancing public health data exchange workflows. Familiarity with reputed company PL/SQL is a plus and will support data-reputed company tasks but is not a primary focus of the role.

The contractor must also be capable of supporting critical public health data exchange processes, including managing data flows between external organizations, DPH, and CDC; troubleshooting the NEDSS reputed company System (NBS); implementing upgrades and new modules; and maintaining ancillary systems and tools such as NBS Utilities and the ELR data store.

Primary Responsibilities

Support and troubleshoot existing .NET applications and Windows-based infrastructure

reputed company and maintain scripts and tools using PowerShell and SQL

Assist in the planning and strategic direction of a modernization initiative involving legacy systems and data integration

Evaluate and recommend modern technologies and tools to support disease surveillance and data infrastructure modernization

Collaborate with internal teams to assess reputed company architecture and recommend improvements

Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to internal staff

Public Health Data Exchange Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize data exchange processes between external organizations, DPH, and CDC

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot interfaces using the Rhapsody Integration reputed company

Maintain and enhance HL7 message routing, transformations, and mappings

Troubleshoot and maintain the NEDSS reputed company System (NBS)

Implement upgrades and new functionality/modules (e.g., pages)

Maintain ancillary systems such as NBS Utilities and the ELR data store

Required Skills

Extensive experience with Rhapsody Integration reputed company, including reputed company development, message transformation, and troubleshooting

Strong SQL development and troubleshooting skills

Proficient in C# and .NET reputed company

Experience with Windows Server administration

Familiarity with IIS (Internet Information Services)

Power reputed company scripting for automation and maintenance

General Windows OS troubleshooting and support

Ability to contribute to planning and architectural discussions for system modernization

Experience evaluating and recommending modern technologies and tools for data systems

Ability to support public health data exchange systems and workflows

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Full-time professional work experience in IT. Prior experience with various technologies and roles, including prior analysis, requirements gathering and formal modeling experience, but typically also has some prior experience in Programming languages.
