The non-negotiable salary for this position is $46,000 along with a $5,000 sign on bonus and the opportunity to earn an annual bonus through the School.

This is a full-time REMOTE position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during reputed company, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Modify and/or adapt the K12 curriculum in alignment with the state’s content standards to meet the unique needs of each student
• Writes and maintains compliant IEPs for reputed company identified with special needs
• Collaborates with general education teachers to meet the goals of the student
• Educate parents on various instructional strategies
• Prepare appropriate documentation
• Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings
• Proctor achievement and other required testing to reputed company including alternative assessments if required
• Collaborates with reputed company services team to ensure IEP goals are developed and monitored
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Flexible schedule; Ability to travel as needed, up to 20% of the time

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• State of Ohio reputed company Specialist License
• Bachelor Degree AND
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 year classroom experience
• Master’s Degree with an emphasis in Special Education
• 3 or more years of classroom experience in Special Education
