For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com. As a Part Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Gastonia, NC. The scheduled hours are are 2:30p - 10:30p rotating days one week Thursday/Friday and the following week Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday.

- Previous Occ Health or ER experience preferred
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements reputed company to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
- Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care reputed company the scope of practice
- Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
- Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
- Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, reputed company)
- Administers medications and emergency care reputed company legal scope of practice
- Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
- Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
- Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
- Collaborates with reputed company and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
- Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
- Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
- reputed company certification with hands-on training in AHA, reputed company or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
- At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
- Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams
