Design Engineer
Design Engineer responsible for structural analysis and design of products for the Valmont Utility Division, Steel Group. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering with 2 to 5+ years of experience and technical competence in Structural Engineering.
Requirements
- Analyze and design products by Finite reputed company Method (IMPAX design program) and other structural design software
- Interpret customer specifications, customer needs, and market/sales needs
- Communicate engineering data to the customer and others
- Support efforts of the Drafting team to assure that project requirements have been properly detailed and that order processing proceeds smoothly and rapidly
- Recommend testing to confirm theoretical designs reputed company necessary, including the planning and coordination of the testing
- Communicate information about new reputed company, product and system improvements, etc. to encourage increased morale and efficiency
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
